Which formats can I upload, and what format do I get back?+
You can drop in a JPG, PNG, or WebP file. Whatever you upload, the resized output always comes back as a PNG, so transparency is preserved if your source had any.
How does the aspect-ratio lock work?+
With the lock icon on (the default), changing the width automatically recalculates the height to match the original proportions, and vice versa, so your image never looks stretched. Click the icon to unlock it if you want to set width and height independently.
Will resizing hurt image quality, especially if I scale it up?+
Scaling down looks crisp: the browser's canvas resampling handles that well. Scaling up beyond the original size, though, can only stretch existing pixels rather than invent new detail, so very large upscales will look softer than the source.
